Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 has issued its Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Wraparound Center.  Eligible not-for-profit and public entities are encouraged to review and respond to the RFP, which can be accessed here. The RFP process is a competitive, equitable process to review and select partner(s) to be located at Wraparound Center.

Waukegan Public Schools plans to open a Wraparound Center later this year at its new District central office in downtown Waukegan. The Center will offer students and families access to therapeutic support, services, and resources from various community agencies in a central location. The District recently completed its Needs Assessment survey, which was administered to the community to help identify the challenges and barriers that face our community, and how those needs/barriers can be addressed.

The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2023. As stated in the RFP, the District is in a position to allocate funds for the provision of specialized social services, not-for-profit, or public subgrantees.
