Family and Community Engagement

The Family and Community Engagement Department, also known as F.A.C.E. is the link between all of our stakeholders. F.A.C.E focuses on procuring and providing resources, planning district events and workshops through Family Institute, creating partnerships among various community agencies, supporting parents and guardians, and bridging communication between our schools, district office and community.

Family and Community Engagement Department Welcome

At Waukegan Public Schools, we know that when families are actively involved, well informed, and connected to all stakeholders. Our students will receive high quality education and thereby our community will benefit.

Our department is responsible for being the bridge between all stakeholders to ensure that our families have access to the necessary resources for their child’s academic success. We do this by providing district wide events, family institute, field trips, alumni outreach, resource referrals, and a presence in the community. We are always available if you have any questions, comments, suggestions or would like to explore opportunities for partnership. You may contact us at 224-303-1051 or 224-303-1012.
