Parent University:
We are very excited to offer parent seminars that will not only offer the education to families about the academics happenings in the our schools as well as information that may give families the tools they need for an improved quality of life. We anticipate that these parent seminars will be useful and it is our hope that many parents will take advantage of the information provided.
Our next Parent University course will held in-person on October 30, 2024 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Waukegan Public Library (
128 N County St, Waukegan, IL 60085) on the topic of K-5 ELA Curriculum.
D60 Dogs:
A male mentorship group that encourages positive male figures in our district to make a difference in our community
.They organize events to encourage positive behavior and positive outcomes for students, support school and district events and activities, and more.
Black Parent Network (BPN):
Is a parent group to help Waukegan families, schools and the community businesses and organizations build good relationships with Black and African American families to encourage trust and relationships with the goal of fostering school success from PreK to graduation.
Our next meeting will be held at the Ant Mound Compound (1920 N Lewis Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087) on Tuesdaay, October 15 at 5:30 P.M.
