District 60’s new K-8 theater company, the Waukegan Performance Arts Company (WAUK-PAC), will host its first performance later this month, as it debuts its production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr. 

More than 40 Waukegan students representing three middle and six elementary schools make up the cast and crew of the production.

Performance times and dates are below. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday April, 19, as well as at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Cooke Magnet Elementary School, 522 Belvidere Road. Tickets are $5 for the general public, and free for children under 2. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.  

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars.
