Elementary students in grades 1-5 receive art instruction from a certified art teacher once a week for 45 minutes. Students learn visual art concepts and appreciation through hands-on activities. Students are challenged with creating unique artwork through understanding of artistic principles.
Middle school students in grades 6-8 can participate in quarter or semester long art classes. Students work in-depth to cultivate their artistic skills while gaining a broader appreciation and knowledge base in the arts.
High School students can elect to take several courses that enhance and refine their skills, while also deepening their understanding of the artistic process. Classes offered at the high school are:
