Welcome to the 2021-2022 6th Grade Music Ensemble Information page!  

If your student would like to join a band, choir or orchestra at their middle school next year, they will need to select one of the following.  At the beginning of the year, their teacher will help them find an instrument (band and orchestra).  There is a small fee to rent an instrument from the district, or students may either purchase or rent their own.  There is no instrument needed for choir.  For band and orchestra students, they will meet as a full band or orchestra during their designated class period.  Additionally, once a week, they will also meet in a small group lesson setting to help develop their skills on their instruments.  These small group lessons are also set up during the day by their band or orchestra teacher and rotate on a weekly basis.
