All Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 schools are again participating in Professional Learning Days this school year. These days will allow for additional professional development opportunities for staff members, and will result in altered bell schedules on these days. See schedule below.
Frequent professional development is needed to provide opportunities for staff and learn best practices for instructional improvement and student learning.
Professional learning days will occur once a month at most elementary schools and middle schools, and twice a month at the high school as well as at six elementary schools. During these days schools will either begin later, or end earlier, than usual.
