Darryl Wilson: Hello, I am Darryl Wilson, Director of Crisis Intervention and Safety for Waukegan Public Schools. Our purpose is to provide leadership support and resources to keep our students, staff, and visitors safe. Our focus is the implementation of best school safety practices, programs, training, and other measures that will enhance and support safe schools in our district. Utilizing the following safety programs: safe school policies, ALiCE, Crisis Go, anonymous tip line, and the district mental health crisis response team. The Department of Crisis Intervention and Safety's mission is to assist the school community in providing a safe learning environment where teachers can teach, and students can learn free from disruptive behavior.
