The Waukegan High School Theatre Department will debut its production of "The NeverEnding Story" on  November 8 to 10 in the Trapp Auditorium of the Waukegan High School-Brookside Campus.

The NeverEnding Story follows a young boy named Bastian who escapes into a mysterious book, finding himself drawn into the magical world of Fantastica, which is threatened by an ominous force called The Nothing. As he reads, Bastian discovers that he holds the power to save Fantastica, blurring the line between fantasy and reality in an epic journey of courage and self-discovery.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, as well as at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 10. Tickets are $7. Tickets can be purchased at both high school campus bookstores, or online here.
