Parent University SchoolLinks Information Session
District 60 is excited to invite families to its next Parent University session, scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, at 6 p.m. on the District’s YouTube Channel.
This session, led by members of the District’s College and Career Readiness department, will provide participants with an overview of the College & Career Readiness Platform, SchooLinks.
Schoolinks is a college and career platform Waukegan students use to explore and plan their postsecondary options. Students can use this resource to explore colleges, research careers, progress monitor their goals, discover opportunities to get involved in such internships or jobs, use the platform as a resume builder, and find various scholarships.
During the presentation, families will learn about SchooLinks, including what it is and how it supports students in their academic and career planning. The session will cover what students can do on the platform, how they can log in, and the various tools available to them. Families will also learn what parents and guardians can do on SchooLinks and how to claim their own accounts to stay connected and support their child’s progress.
Following the live presentation, team members will take questions via YouTube’s chat feature.
