Waukegan Public Schools’ Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on October 21 and 22. Conferences will be held from approximately 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each evening. This year’s conferences will be hosted virtually. 

Classroom teachers are creating invitations for parents to sign up for 15-minute conference windows. Parents/guardians of students with low grades, low attendance or low participation will be prioritized for time slots.  

These meetings are primarily designed to give parents a better understanding of their child’s progress and successes, as well as help identify areas of improvement both academically and socially. During these meetings teachers will present quarter one grades, as well as other relevant data pertaining to students’ academic performance and social and emotional well-being. Parents with questions about conferences should contact their child’s school. 

Students in grades PreK-12 will follow their school schedules during the day on October 21 and 22. PreK students will not have class on October 22. October 23 is a non-attendance day for all students.
