As we continue to plan and prepare for the fall, feedback from our stakeholders is very important to us. Last month we received a fantastic response to our surveys about the reopening of schools, and that information has aided us as we formulate a plan.
Today we are moving to the next step of surveys through the Thoughtexchange platform. Thoughtexchange will allow us to crowdsource answers from our parents, staff and students. For the first round, we are asking a simple question: WHAT ARE IMPORTANT THINGS THE DISTRICT NEEDS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN PLANNING FOR FALL 2020.
This is your opportunity to provide feedback, and also see what others are saying about this important question. You can provide your response by visiting the Thoughtexchange link for this exchange. You can also participate in this exchange by navigating to tejoin.com and entering the following 9-digit code: 105-509-324. Your responses can be entered in English or Spanish, by selecting your language preference at the top of the page. The deadline to complete the survey is July 8.
We have also been gathering feedback in other ways this week. On Tuesday staff presented a live video broadcast where they discussed our fall planning process, and answered questions from parents, staff and students. We hope those of you who participated found the information useful. If you did not watch the broadcast live you can still view it here. This was the first in a series of similar videos we will be conducting over the next several weeks, to keep the community informed on our progress. The next video will be a Spanish language Facebook Live event at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 2. You can tune in here.
