Waukegan High School will be the host of two upcoming college financial aid events, aimed at familiarizing parents and students with the financial aid and FAFSA process.

On October 1, the University Center of Lake County will kickoff its 2019-2020 Financial Aid Workshop series at the WHS-Washington Campus. Students can receive assistance filling out their FAFSA applications from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the school’s rifle range.

On October 7, Congressman Brad Schneider is partnering with State Representative Rita Mayfield to host a  “College Financial Aid 101” event at the Washington Campus. The event, which is being presented by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, will assist parents and students with information on the federal financial aid process. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room 201.
