Promotion ceremonies for Middle Schools in Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 will take place on Wednesday, May 30, at the Genesee Theatre, in downtown Waukegan.

All five Middle Schools will celebrate the graduation of their eighth graders during ceremonies throughout the day. Buses at each school will transport students to the ceremonies and then back to their respective schools. Parents will be able to pick up students once they return to their schools. Parents of Abbott graduates will be allowed to take their children home directly from the ceremony.

The schedule for May 30 will be as follows:

Miguel Juarez Middle School - 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Daniel Webster Middle School - 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thomas Jefferson Middle School - 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Jack Benny Middle School - 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Robert E. Abbott Middle School - 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Admittance to all graduation ceremonies is free. Parents are asked to contact their child’s school for additional information on his or her graduation ceremony.
