The discounted sports physicals event scheduled for Thursday, July 28, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 2.

The event is one of two days in which Waukegan High School is offering $20 sports physicals to WHS sophomores, juniors and seniors who will be participating in athletics during the 2011/2012 school. Physicals will be offered from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 4 at Family Medicine Specialists Inc., 917 Belvidere Road, Waukegan.

The physicals will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, and no appointments will be taken. Family Medicine Specialists will be donating a majority of fees from the two events back to Waukegan High School’s athletic teams.

Students receiving sports physicals are required to complete the standard IHSA physical form, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
