The following are important dates for parents wishing to enroll their children in Waukegan’s Andrew Cooke Magnet School, 522 Belvidere Road, in the fall.

Thursday, January 12 –Kindergarten information meeting at 6 p.m. in Cooke’s gymnasium. The meeting is open to parents of all prospective kindergarten students who live within Waukegan School District boundaries. The meeting will address Cooke’s curriculum, as well as its admission process. Applications for kindergarten students will be available that evening.

Saturday, January 28 – Kindergarten testing by appointment between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon).

Saturday, February 4 – Kindergarten testing by appointment between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon).

Thursday, February 23 – Applications available for grades 1-5. (Limited seats are available.)
